Nikki is a registered Paint mare in her 20s and another who came from the trail riding facility. She has a calcified knot on her front left knee which causes her to be completely lame. However, she was still being used for trail rides in this condition. I bought her to retire her. And she was the very first horse I owned out of all of the horses at the rescue. She is very happy as a pasture pet and loves to get groomed and sprayed with the water hose (in the summer of course.) Nikki is a wonderful mare who loves to be around people. The camp kids enjoy giving her baths on hot days and I use to her to teach the kids grooming skills. She's one of the best!
