India is a registered Paint mare I purchased several years ago (before the rescue was started.) She came to me pregnant with Maya, who I still own. India is also the only mare I have ever bred and I still have her second foal, Pippa, as well. She is a great mare with a super disposition and passed that on to both of her fillies. She is used for riding lessons (for kids who want to go very very slow) and does an occasional pony ride. You couldn't ask for a more laid back and kind mare and I'm happy to have her as part of the herd.
