Flyer is a 14 year old 17 hh Thoroughbred Gelding. He was raced as a youngster and was then shown successfully for many years by his owner and many lesson kids. Flyer was brought here to board and to gain weight (why he was so underweight upon coming here was never made clear.) Unfortunately his owner abandoned him here. He bonded with Casey right away and the two are inseparable. Flyer is actually very kid safe as a lesson horse but he is still working on putting on weight and becoming 100% healthy again. And due to some arthritis issues, I'm not sure how rideable he would be. If he were to be adopted he would have to come with Casey.

Casey is a QH gelding who is close to 30 years old. He is extremely sweet and people oriented. He actually became very depressed when his former owner stopped coming out to see him. He eventually had to donate Casey to the rescue due to health problems and Casey became pals with Flyer. He is a wonderful little gelding but his riding days are over.

Most likely, these two boys are here to stay as I don't know if the perfect home is out there for them. But feel free to inquire if you think you have the right situation to offer!
