Storybook Farm & Equine Rescue

Aria is an 8 y/o Paint mare. She has issues with ringbone and hoof neglect. However, her joint is almost fused, according to recent x-rays. The vet feels she will be much more comfortable when this happens. Shoes were left on her front feet so long that her hooves had grown over and around the shoes. Aria is also totally blind from uveitis.

She is extremely sweet and happy and gets around very well. Aria is no longer available for adoption. Her potential home backed out and Aria ended up bonding with Chief, another blind horse. Since they are so close, they will remain here at the rescue together.
