Storybook Farm & Equine Rescue

This mare and gelding were seized from their owners by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, due to neglect. I picked them up from Walker County Animal Control and they are currently gaining some much needed weight and are available for adoption. They do not have names yet. The mare (paint) is 12 and the gelding (palomino) is 8. While he is very friendly, it's taken some time for the mare to trust people. But she is easy to work with. To my knowledge, neither has been ridden and will need training. The mare seems to know more then the gelding, athough he is very people friendly. Inquire for more information. I'd prefer to see them go to the same home as they are extremely attached to each other. I would consider separating them for the right situation. Neither is registered. No breeding homes for the mare.
