Matilda is a draft mule in her 20s. In her "previous life" she was used to pull logs and clear land. The work took its toll on her body but she is loving life in retirement. Matilda was adopted out to Lisa and Sandy in Alabama along with Bailey and Sunny.
Her feet were badly overgrown and turning upward when she arrived but we were able to make her much more comfortable with a few good trims. More Matilda photos can be viewed here.
