Hailey was very misunderstood. She was at a sale barn where her owner had traded her in for a different horse. She had thrown him, he labeled her as crazy, and wanted her gone.

The folks at the sale barn had a hard time handling her because she was so sensitive. Seeing how nervous she was, compounded with the fact that she threw her previous owner, they decided she was completely nuts.

As is usually the case, Hailey was nowhere near crazy. She was sensitive and very, very sweet. Hailey spent the summer of 2006 here, going through some re-training. She was adopted out to Leah in Florida and both couldn't be happier with each other. This "crazy" mare is now hitting the trails with her owner and living the good life.
